What is CrisisForums.org all about?
========================================

The word "crisis" has the following etymology:

late Middle English (denoting the turning point of a disease): medical Latin, from Greek krisis ‘decision,’ from krinein ‘decide.’ The general sense ‘decisive point’ dates from the early 17th century.

Therefore, while "crisis" to most people means "bad news", in reality the word simply means "change".

This website collects news and information from around the world on a daily basis in an attempt to make sense of this change, to explore mysteries, and to peek behind the curtain of a rapidly evolving human civilization.

How do we approach material rights?
========================================

All materials collected and published on this site from other sources belong to those sources, and this website claims no rights whatsoever. This includes instances when we add our own contributions to the original materials. While we reserve the right build upon re-posted works, all rights still belong to the original authors.

We publish small excerpts through the Act of Fair Usage and will always link back to the original source, giving full credit whenever possible. You can view Fair Usage law here:

http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/17/107.shtml

That said, if the material belongs to you and you would like anything we've published altered, please contact us with supporting evidence that the material belongs to you and we'll discuss an alternate method of presentation.

As for our own editorial materials and commentary, all rights belong to CrisisForums.org and its community. However, you may re-post our information on your own website as long as you provide a link back to the original page, and that will always remain our single humble request. We believe information should remain free, and that the people of the world should share it freely.

Readers retain the rights and responsibilities to their commentary and postings, although this website reserves the right to reproduce or comment upon these postings, as well remove or act upon any inappropriate materials not following the rules of the website.
